Cookie policy
Short version: no advertising trackers and no cross-site profiling. We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, which articles get read; and Google reCAPTCHA loads only if you open the comment form.

- Analytics (Google Analytics 4): measures pageviews and aggregate usage so we know which comparisons help readers. Google may set first-party
_ga-cookies for this and processes data under its own privacy policy. We use the data only for aggregate statistics, never for advertising or profiling. - Our own page-view counter: stores only a number per page on our server; nothing is placed on your device.
- Posting a comment: when you open the comment form, we load Google reCAPTCHA to keep spam out. Google may set functional cookies for that widget and processes data under its own privacy policy. These cookies are only involved when you actively open the form; readers never load anything from Google.
